Rødby is a town and a former municipality (Danish, kommune) on the island of Lolland in Denmark. Its last mayor was Hans Ole Sørensen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.
On January 1, 2007 Rødby municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalre for men ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing Holeby, Højreby, Maribo, Nakskov, Ravnsborg, and Rudbjerg municipalities to form the new Lolland municipality
