starts. In 1697, the Franciscans have taken full control of Indian territory and have organized their catechetical center called Doctrine of Natural Tadó San Francisco. In 1715, with the integration of the Spanish Franciscans slaves and indigenous implant is achieved, the new village made up the settlement of St. Joseph of Tado, Natural Doctrine of San Francisco, Salinas VALERIO PEREA and Sisters. Tadó begins his administrative life from 1,821 to Law 8th, designating Tadó as Canton District San Juan, located in the province of Choco, which was incorporated in the state of Cauca. In 1857, Law signed by the Presidency Tadó constitutes the Electoral Circle No. 31 with a total of 6,388 inhabitants.
