The economic
activity of the inhabitants of Simacota develops in the three sectors of
production according to the production profile of the municipality, which
traditionally has been the quality of agricultural soils, topography and urban
and regional relations that determine a socioeconomic characteristics for the
different areas that comprise: high, medium and low Simacota.
