The behavior of the local economy by sectors
reflects the prevalence of the agricultural and livestock sectors, but no real
signs of agro-industrialization processes, as it is mainly craft (Trapiche,
burner).Another dynamic sector is the tertiary sector, which is
characterized by the important role of the commercial sector and transport,
which markets a volume between 1,000 and 1,200 tons monthly panela, in
different presentations (4 pounds, spray, kilo , pound, pen and panelin).
