Born as human settlement known as LA
CUERERA in 1973, by people from different departments, on March 7, 1984 changed
its name to CONCORD, and in 1985 becomes the Departmental Inspection PUERTO
name CONCORDIA jurisdiction of the Municipality of Puerto Rico, which is
secreted and raised to the category of Municipality through Ordinance 012 1989
For the year 1979 the town of Puerto Concordia was composed of a block located
on the left bank of Ariari River in what today is part of the district center.
