But not only this town has excelled in the music field, have also excelled in poetry VIPs including Eugenio Pinto, Feliciano Calderón, Carlos Saul Melendez Teresa Pinto and Faddy, so Molagavita has been called "Cradle of Artists". Folk activity can be seen in the Christmas novenas and feast of San Pedro and San Pablo, where for more than 20 years has been done, the folk festival, Folk Contest today Maria Carvajal Luis Prada, where artists gather at the provincial and municipal levels rescuing year after year folklore of traditional dance in our region and our town which is the whirlwind dance Molagavita highlighted in "Viva la fiesta" and other dances also work as braid, cobweb, star, bows among others. There are currently two dance groups that have participated in competitions at the provincial and departmental level leaving up the name of our town as is the dance group "So my people dance" and "llaneritos" the plain path of Molagavita.
