Torres del Paine is a commune in the Chilean Patagonia . Cerro Castillo is the capital of the municipality of the province of Ultima Esperanza , in the region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica .
The commune is limited: the north and east with the Republic of Argentina , and the south and west by the commune of Natales .
Cerro Castillo, situated north of Puerto Natales is obligatory passage point for visitors to the National Park Torres del Paine , which is located in this municipality. It also pass the steps of the border that give access to Patagonia Argentina, and the rest of the Chilean territory, one that has no roads linking the Region of Aysen and lap of Magellan and Antarctica
