O'Higginiano Museum of Fine Arts and Talca : was founded in 1925 on the initiative of Jos� Miguel Cruz talquino sculptor, and inaugurated by the then Minister of Education, Jos� Santos Salas . In 1964 the museum was renamed O'Higginiano. Replica contains important historical documents, residence of Bernardo O'Higgins, who lived in the house of Don Juan Albano Pereira, merchant of the time. In this house, on February 12, 1818, signed the draft of the Declaration of Independence of Chile. In addition, the Museum has a rich collection of paintings, mainly of local artists and other resident in Talca, as Mauricio Rugendas .

Dibam�vil : Mobile Library that runs 16 communes in the region. It belongs to the Directorate of Libraries, Archives and Museums DIBAMand literary material leads to the most remote and highly rural for free. Works since 1998.

Maule Regional Theatre (TRM): located in the Alameda Theatre, 1 East corner. Opened on September 5, 2005, with funding from the Municipality and the governments of Chile and the Basque Country . Occupies the site of the former Municipal Theatre which had started its functions in 1874 and was demolished in 1966, the building that replaced instead tried unsuccessful. The TRM is the most modern theater in South America, with capacity for 1060 spectators and the latest in sound, staging and lighting, which have made possible high-level performances. The first artist to appear on that stage was Joan Manuel Serrat .

The Village Cultural Center : Located on Calle 4 Sur 729. It is a private institution, which opened to the public on August 5, 2010, with funding provided by the Fund for the Reconstruction of the National Youth Institute (INJUV). The novelty of this institution is the playroom or games room, open to the public, in which parents and children can play with a great selection of games, toys, costumes, books and teaching materials.
