Annaba has an important touristic infrastructure, and is a major touristic attraction in the western Mediterranean. The town is coastal town, with also mountains, hills, foothills and plains, it has it all. In addition to the maritime and seaside tourism Annaba has an important mountain tourism potential. As for Seraïdi, which culminate at 1080m, it remains a major attraction among three other zones of touristic attraction which are "the West Bay", "Djenane el Bey" and "Ras el Hamra".

It has also some Religious attractions. Annaba hosted, in its early history, an important and influent Diocese, before its destruction byVandals, and the massive Islamization. Since Annaba is located on the Tunisian border, opened and visa-free, one can also visit Tunisia andEl Kala National Park of eastern Annaba.

The city is also known for its Green Main Street (much more known as the court of the revolution) has a vibrant afternoon and an active nightlife. Annaba is known for its beautiful beaches, hotels and night life. Most foreign tourists are from Italy and France
